(WATCH) Dan Crenshaw Gets Triggered By 18-Year-Old Asking About Infamous Quote (VIDEO)

During a Tea Party meeting in Rep. Dan Crenshaw’s home district in Texas, the Congressman was confronted by an 18-year-old girl who read an infamous quote in which he called Jesus Christ a hero archetype.

Crenshaw blew up on the girl and received boos and jeers from the crowd.

The girl read the line that Crenshaw had said on a podcast with Jocko Willink. Crenshaw suggested Christ was just a fictional character, comparing Christ to Superman, saying, “The important thing is that we societal hero archetypes that we look up to. Jesus is a hero archetype, Superman is a hero archetype. Real characters too, you know, I put, I could name a thousand.”

Crenshaw tried to defend himself, quickly interrupting the girl, and sternly telling her multiple times, “don’t question my faith.” He said, “never in that quote did I say Jesus wasn’t real” and called the girl “not very Christian.”

Crenshaw has faced a lot of backlash from Conservative influencers in recent weeks as he faces a primary election. Alex Bruesewitz, a political consultant, said on Twitter, “A constituent of @DanCrenshawTX’s asked a great question tonight. That question was: Why do you spend more time attacking Marjorie Taylor Greene than AOC? Great question. Dan shouldn’t attack the MAGA members. It’s uncalled for.”

Bruesewitz has constantly ripped into Crenshaw recently, calling him the “political love child of Liz Cheney & Adam Kinzinger.”
