(WATCH) DeSantis Slams Biden Administration Problems, Admits He Fell Asleep Watching The State Of The Union (VIDEO)
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis ripped into President Biden’s State of the Union address and his administration’s work. DeSantis said the address was so boring that he fell asleep during it but added that many of our country’s problems “have been created by Biden and his administration.”

Earlier this week, DeSantis made headlines after he rejected Biden’s request to send Florida National Guard members to Washington, D.C. to serve as “Security” for Biden’s address. DeSantis said on Twitter, “Last week, the Biden Administration requested the assistance of State National Guard to deploy to Washington D.C. I have rejected this request—there will be no @FLGuard sent to D.C. for Biden’s State of the Union.”

In a statement sent to Newsweek, DeSantis said the Biden admin did not explain why “National Guard troops would be needed at an event where US Capitol Police and Secret Service traditionally serve as security.” The statement continued, “The National Guard should never be misused for political purposes or regime propaganda spectacles. Last year, when the National Guard deployed to D.C. around the inauguration, they were forced to sleep in freezing parking garages. Our dedicated, patriotic service members deserve better.”
