Selina Soule, a high school female track athlete, is speaking out against transgender athletes.
Soule did not qualify for the 55-meter event in the New England regionals due to the inclusion of 2 transgender athletes who defeated her in the track event.
Soule is now fighting for her right to compete on a level playing field by filing a civil rights complaint with the U.S. Department of Education.
The U.S. Department of Education has agreed to investigate school athletic programs in Soule’s home state of Connecticut. The outcome of this investigation could affect fairness in women’s sports nationwide.
