(WATCH) Former NBA Star Defends Rittenhouse In Vulgar Rant, Says Commentators Are ‘Paid To Push This Racist S**t’ (VIDEO)

A basketball star expressed his frustration with the politicization of the Kyle Rittenhouse trial, claiming that detractors are being paid for “talking about how racist it is.”

Kwame Brown, a 39-year-old former National Basketball Association player, defended Rittenhouse, claiming that he was acting out of self-defense. Rittenhouse was found not guilty on all charges in the shooting deaths of two rioters and the injuring of a third during the Kenosha riots.

“That — to me, in my opinion — looked like self-defense. The courts found it as self-defense,” Brown said Monday. “The only bad thing is that he had to sit in jail for so long because they made something political that shouldn’t have been political. If you’re going to give the boy the gun charge, give him the damn gun charge, or let the boy out.”

He went on to say that Rittenhouse should have been charged with a misdemeanor and sentenced to probation at the very most.

“He could have been home eating Fruit Loops or whatever the hell he eats.”

Brown asserted that, rather than viewing the teenager’s trial objectively, commentators seek to racialize the proceedings. There were no people of color among the victims.

Brown continued, “Instead of that, we want to tie it in to something black. We want to tie it in to something bigger so we can have people come out and march and get checks off a little teenager’s back, and that, to me, is corny.”

“Everything ain’t political, OK?”

Brown asserted that reminding people of color how “bad” their lives are is beneficial to racial activists, advocates, lawyers, and journalists.

“A bunch of people are getting paid to push this racist s***. That’s all it is,” he continued. “These motherf*****s ain’t got no lane they’re in — they really don’t got nothing to say. The only thing they get paid off of is talking about how racist it is. Them motherf*****s got good cars, good houses, good everything telling you how bad it is. Motherf*****, it don’t look bad. You’re driving a Benz, you’re g****** flying all over the world, you have speaking engagements, you motherf*****s got black ties and security and s***. How you motherf*****s so bad off?”

He even singled out famous personalities who have been associated with the promotion of racial narratives.

“I saw g****** Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson — I saw g****** Roland Martin,” he said. “Them motherf*****s got black ties, security. Them motherf*****s got a black SUV. Them motherf*****s riding in style.”

Brown said they’re “over there living good and pimpin'”.

“So how in the f*** is it so bad?” Brown asked. “Tell me how to get it like you got it. Tell me how to get some of them black Escalade securities that you son-of-a-b*****s pulling up in while I’m pulling up with my brother.”

The 6′ 11″ Brown retired from the NBA in 2014 following a 13-year career during which he earned more than $60 million.
