In a now-viral video on Facebook, New York resident Ann Walker shared a video of her child at a daycare center in the state.
In a Facebook post, Walker said “This is my poor kid at daycare today so I can work. #breaksmyheart #governorhochulthiswontwork #whyarewepunishingbabies.”
The graphic video shows her son sobbing, while not wanting, rightfully so to put on a mask.
Walker goes on to say in her post that she is not upset with her Daycare center she is upset with the draconian mask mandates.
“Point of clarification I’m not upset with his daycare they are attempting to comply with the mandate. I love where he is. I’m pissed out our governor and OCFS who think mandating two year old to wear a mask 7-10 hours a day is at all necessary. #unmaskourbabies.”
Governor Hochul who recently replaced Democrat Governor Cuomo, who was found to have committed sexual misconduct by the New York state Attorney General, has implemented a new mask mandate for children under 12.
“For children under 12 who are not yet eligible to be vaccinated, masks are the best line of defense against COVID-19 infection. This new mask requirement ensures that children in our child care facilities receive the same protection as children in our schools.”
Although it is widely known that COVID does not have nearly the hospitalization rates for children under 12 as it does any other age range especially 55 plus. New York is still pushing these draconian mandates that have been shown to not work.
