Undocumented immigrants can now get drivers licenses in New York.
The new law, known as the “green light law,” allows undocumented immigrants to get licenses by showing foreign documents, even if they are not U.S. citizens.
Undocumented immigrants formed long lines at many New York DMV offices as they waited for hours to receive their driver’s licenses.
Many are worried that this policy will effectively allow illegal aliens to vote in state and federal elections.
