While campaigning in New Hampshire, Democratic 2020 presidential candidate Joe Biden was caught on video saying that banning “50 clips in a weapon” is a “rational gun policy” that will allegedly protect American lives.
“[America is] unwilling to have a rational policy that says you cannot have 20, 30, 40, 50 clips in a weapon,” said the 78-year-old Biden.
Of course, anyone over the age of 6 understands that Biden’s statement made zero sense and he has no idea what he is talking about when it comes to guns or most issues for that matter.
Biden also threatened that citizens would need “hellfire missiles and F-15s” to take on the government because “there is no way an AK-47” would protect Americans from the government.
“The fact is, if you’re going to take on the government, you need an F-15 with hellfire missiles,” claimed Biden. “There is no way an AK-47 is gonna take care of you if you’re going to take on, you’re worried about the government coming down, knocking down your door.”
I don’t understand how Biden thinks that threatening gun owners by saying that the government could kill them all if it wanted to HELPS STRENGTHEN his case for wanting law-abiding citizens to give up their guns. This man is truly senile.
Joe Biden later claimed that 58% of NRA members want a ban on “assault” weapons. However, the NRA confirmed that Biden’s statistics were completely fake and made up.
In September 2019, Joe Biden was filmed saying that he would ban “magazines that can hold multiple bullets in them”, which is most guns.
“The idea that we don’t have elimination of assault-type weapons, magazines that can hold multiple bullets in them is absolutely mindless. It is no violation of the Second Amendment. It is just a bow to the special interests. They’re the gun manufacturers and the NRA. It’s got to stop.”
