Congress is meeting in a joint-session to debate the results of the 2020 Electoral College.
Republican Senator Ted Cruz of Texas officially objected to the Arizona electors, who voted for Democrat Joe Biden.
Senator Cruz’s objection resulted in a suspension of the joint-session.
Now, each chamber of Congress will debate the results of Arizona’s electors.
Currently, the House of Representatives is debating.
