President Trump slammed Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr for the “sad” response he gave when asked by a reporter to comment on the Hong Kong anti-communist protests.

“I mean I watch this guy Steve Kerr. He was like a little boy. He was so scared to be even answering the question, he couldn’t answer the question. He was shaking, “Oh I don’t know. I don’t know,” Trump said.  Trump added, “He didn’t know how to answer the question and yet he’ll talk about the United States very badly.”

Trump went on to criticize San Antonio Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich, who has also refrained from criticizing the Chinese government.  “I watched Popovich sort of the same thing but he didn’t look quite as scared actually. But they talk badly about the United States. But when it talks about China, they don’t want to say anything bad. I thought it was pretty sad actually.”

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr, who frequently criticizes President Trump, has been silent when it comes to criticizing the oppressive Chinese communist government.

Kerr gave the following pathetic response when asked about the recent NBA/China scandal, “Actually I don’t [have a comment]. I mean, it’s a really, really bizarre international story. A lot of us, you know, don’t know what to make of it. So, it’s something I’m reading about just like everybody is but I’m not going to comment further than that.

The Chinese Basketball Association recently suspended all business dealings with the NBA’s Houston Rockets because the Rockets’ general manager tweeted out his support for the Hong Kong protesters, who are fighting for their freedom against the tyrannical communist Chinese regime.

Both Republicans and Democrats called out Kerr for being spineless about China and compared his weak response to how he has criticized President Trump in the past.
