In response to peaceful protests that broke out at the US Capitol on Wednesday, President Trump posted a video on Twitter, telling his supporters to “go home” from Washington, DC.
“I know your pain, I know your hurt,” begins President Trump.
“We had an election that was stolen from us.”
“It was a landslide election, and everyone knows it. Especially the other side.”
“But you have to go home now. We have to have peace.”
