(WATCH) Psaki Gets Triggered After Reporter Brings Up How Biden Promised To Stop Putin Two Years Ago (VIDEO)

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy exposed the Biden administration’s flaws once again, reminding that Biden vowed in 2019 to put an end to Vladimir Putin’s threats against the United States and Russia’s European neighbors.

Doocy quoted what Biden said in 2019, “Putin knows that when I am president of the United States his days of tyranny and trying to intimidate the United States and those in Eastern Europe are over.”

He pressed Jen Psaki, saying, “It’s 2.5 years later, he is intimidating the United States and those in Eastern Europe. What happened?” Psaki offered an interesting response, claiming, “President Biden has rallied the world, rallied Europe, to stand up against the efforts and the actions of President Putin.”

After noting that Biden has frequently stated that global warming is the greatest threat to the United States, Doocy questioned Psaki why she feels further penalties against Russia will stop Putin.

“Why do you guys think that sanctions are going to stop Putin if his goal, ultimately, is to redraw the map, so it looks like it did 70 or 80 yrs ago? What sanction is going to stop them from doing that?”  Doocy inquired.

Later in the press conference, another Fox reporter, Hillary Vaughn, who also happens to be Doocy’s wife, questioned why sanctions had not been established earlier, saying, “if Nord Stream 2 going online was such a threat, why in May did the President waive sanctions on the company and the chief executive behind it?”

Psaki offered no concrete response. She also didn’t have a response for Phillip Wegmann of Real Clear Politics, who questioned whether any of Putin’s closest circle had previously been sanctioned or if they were “being sanctioned for the first time.”
