WATCH: Texans Caught On Video Spontaneously Singing National Anthem In Walmart
A video of Americans in Haslet, Texas has gone viral after Walmart shoppers were caught on video spontaneously singing the national anthem during the July 4th Independence Day weekend.
The video showed a woman starting to sing the “The Star Spangled-Banner” as she stood under a giant American flag, as a group of shoppers joined in and the crowd broke in cheers and applause as they finished the song.
A witness commented that the impromptu chorus “was a very patriotic moment” which “brought tears to my eyes,” according to a report by KTVT-TV.
The other customers who joined in the singalong placed their hands on their chest, while others took off their hats while singing the anthem.
On Sunday, Independence Day, Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott also retweeted a video of a Texan driving down the street with a gigantic American flag atop the back of his truck — noting how people in the Lone Star state love America.
“Texas loves America, our flag, our anthem,” Abbott wrote on his social media.

As some Texans were caught expressing their patriotism and love for America, some reports also cited how “leftists from Hollywood to Washington D.C.” expressed their disdain for the July 4 Independence Day celebration.
Missouri Rep. Cori Bush blasted America by pointing out that Black Americans are still not free as other Democratic supporters piled on her sentiment.
“When they say that the 4th of July is about American freedom, remember this: the freedom they’re referring to is for white people. This land is stolen land and Black people still aren’t free,” Bush wrote on Twitter.

Trump vows to keep July 4th honor
Meanwhile, in his own message for the July 4 holiday, former President Donald Trump vowed that the Independence Day celebration “will not be canceled,” and that American founders and patriots will “never be purged from history or canceled from our hearts” — as he denounced cancel culture and growing anti-American sentiment of activists in the country.
“Tomorrow we will celebrate 245 years of glorious American Independence: It will not be canceled, by the way,” Trump said in his Save America rally in Sarasota, Florida on Saturday which aired live on Newsmax.
“We will teach young people across the country that George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, Thomas Jefferson. John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock will forever be American heroes,” he added.
