Watch: Trump Invites Marine Who Pulled Baby Over Kabul Wall Onto Stage At Rally Prompting ‘USA’ Chants

Former President Donald Trump lauded the US soldier who was photographed pulling an Afghan baby across the Kabul airport wall during the chaotic withdrawal of American troops in Afghanistan.

At a rally in Perry, Georgia, the former Republican president invited Lance Corporal Hunter Ian Clark and praised his action in Kabul.

“We’re also honored to be joined by one of the Marines who bravely served in Kabul during the withdrawal and helped evacuate children over the airport and over the airport wall,” Trump told thousands gathered in the rally.

“You saw him, he did a great job, Lance Corporal Hunter Ian Clark. Lance Corporal get up here!” Trump added.

Trump referred to Clark as a “handsome guy” as the lance corporal walked up to the stage accompanied by cheers from the crowd.

“Hey, my name is Lance Corporal Hunter Clark, and I’m here from Warner Robins, Georgia,” Clark said in his remark.

“I am the guy that pulled the baby over the wall, and it’s definitely probably one of the greatest things I’ve done in my entire life,” he added.

An apparently choking Clark went on to thank everyone for their kind words and support to him amid the turn of events in Afghanistan.

“I just want to thank all the support from all y’all. It really means a lot and I’m glad to be home now,” the lance corporal added.

Clark then shook the hand of the former Republican president and walked off the stage as cheers of “USA! USA! USA!” ensued.

Meanwhile, in his speech, Trump repeatedly lambasted the disastrous handling of President Joe Biden of the US withdrawal of presence in Afghanistan — calling it the “most appalling display of incompetence.”

Biden’s efforts were marred with images of chaos during the rushed evacuation of US forces and allies in Afghanistan. Hundreds of Americans were also reportedly left behind in the now terrorist-led country as 13 US servicemen and hundreds of Afghans were killed in a terror attack near the Kabul airport days ahead of the set deadline to pull out troops from the country.

The drone strike celebrated by the Biden administration as an ISIS-K planner takedown also turned out to be a US ally, transporting water for needy Afghans.

During the rally, Trump also left 13 empty seats in the front row with roses on top of every seat in a tribute to the American service members killed during the ISIS-K suicide attack in the Kabul airport.

“In their memory tonight we have 13 empty seats of honor right here in the front row,’ Trump told the crowd.

“Our hearts go out to the families of every service member that we have lost, and I’ve spoken to a lot of them. These are great, great people,” the former president added.
