WATCH: Tucker Carlson Blasts Barack Obama For Violating Coronavirus Stay-At-Home Orders To Play Golf Despite His Wife Urging All Americans To Stay Home

During the coronavirus pandemic, Americans are following government orders for what they are told is the greater good of the country.  For many, this means denying their natural-born desires to get out and about, play sports, visit restaurants, shop or just live life.   They are instead staying in their homes while doing their part to, “keep each other safe.

That’s the exact term former first lady
Michelle Obama used in her PSA to the African-American
community about the coronavirus released this past Friday.

Michelle said in a statement, “Our [African-American] communities are among the hardest hit by the coronavirus, and we’ve got to do everything we can to keep each other safe. And that means staying home, because even if we are not showing any symptoms, we can still spread the virus to others. Let’s keep each other safe by just staying home. Thank you so much and God Bless.”

However, it seems former President Barack Obama does not feel he is required to follow the coronavirus lockdown mandates that his wife is urging Americans to listen to. In fact, according to picture evidence presented by Fox News reporter Tucker Carlson, Michelle’s PSA ironically came two days after her husband took a private golf trip.

This reveals a “do what I say, not what I do” attitude embraced by so many Democrat Party elites, like Democrat Mayor Bill de Blasio who was filmed earlier this week taking a stroll with his wife in a Brooklyn park, miles away from his home.

The PSA by the former first lady highlights the need for everyone to do their part to keep the public safe by staying home. Yet, a mere two days prior to the release of Mrs. Obama’s statement, her own husband was doing anything but “staying home.”  Instead, Barack spent the day out of his house golfing at The Robert Trent Jones Golf Club, a private golf club in Virginia located 45 minutes away from the Obama’s Washington D.C. residence.

It was a picturesque day on the links, with no crowds; the former President had the course all to himself. As Tucker Carlson pointed out, this was because Mr. Obama was golfing on a closed course, while all other Virginians are ordered to be quarantined at home until June 10.  Mr. Obama was out breathing fresh air, enjoying a leisurely time on the golf course with no worries in the world.

As part of the movement promoted by Mrs. Obama and enforced by the state mandates, “nonessential workers” living in Virginia and Washington D.C. are not allowed to leave their homes unless they are going to visit a doctor, grocery shopping, or taking care of another type of so-called “essential” errand.

Interestingly enough, a visit to a closed-down golf club isn’t listed among the activities that Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s considers to be essential to life.
