(WATCH) Tucker Carlson Goes Off, Says Media Won’t Investigate Motives In Waukesha Massacre (VIDEO)
According to Tucker Carlson, the liberal media will not investigate the motives behind the Waukesha parade massacre because doing so will demonstrate that their woke bail and prison reforms are to blame. This comes after it was revealed that the suspect had recently been released on $1,000 bail following a domestic dispute.
A day after Darrell Brooks, 39, drove his red SUV into the crowd of people watching a Christmas parade, injuring 62 people and killing six, liberals were calling to abolish federal prisons and to minimize ‘excessive bail’. This would free criminals such as sex traffickers and murderers.
On Tuesday, Carlson said that “the media and local authorities have decided to speak for [Brooks].”
“And the main thing they want you to know is that these killings had absolutely nothing to do with the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict just two days before. Nothing whatsoever. The timing is just one of those amazing coincidences.”
Carlson expressed his disappointment with the media, saying: “This has to do with the [Rittenhouse] verdict. That’s the obvious conclusion. Is it true? Again, we have not confirmed it, but we can be absolutely certain that the national media will spend zero time trying to find out.”

Brooks, a career criminal with a 22-year criminal record, was released on a $1,000 bond after reportedly hitting the mother of one of his children in the face and then running her over with his car after.
According to the arrest warrant for that event, acquired by DailyMail.com on Monday, he pursued her to a gas station, attacked her “with a closed fist” and then “ran her over”, before being apprehended by police.
Carlson continued, “So $1,000 for beating and running over a woman? Why? Well, because [Waukesha District Attorney] John Chisholm believes that bail is racist”
“A few years ago, Chisholm acknowledged that letting violent criminals out of jail was certain to cost innocent lives? But he explains, it’s still worth it, because equity.”
After eight-year-old Jackson Sparks became the sixth victim of the massacre, Brooks’ bond has been increased to $5 million from the previous $2 million.
Even though Judge Kevin Costello declared the cost to be “extraordinarily high” for the “indigent” Brooks, opponents pointed out that there was nothing to prohibit someone from voluntarily paying the $5 million charge or raising the money through crowdsourcing.
That’s exactly what occurred with Kyle Rittenhouse, who was acquitted of murder in the August 2020 killings in Kenosha, Wisconsin, on Friday. His bail had been set at $2 million, but his supporters raised the money through a crowdsourcing campaign.
It was unclear why the judge would not just refuse Brooks bail, considering the suspect’s 22-year criminal background and a history of failing to appear in court on many occasions.
On the evening of Tuesday, Brooks was taken into jail and will remain in custody until his next court appearance in January 2022, unless he makes bail.
Carlson played a clip of Black Lives Matter activist Vaum Mayes, who claimed Brooks’ actions had something to do with the [Rittenhouse] verdict.

Trump agreed with Trump’s description of Brooks. Trump said on the Sean Hannity show, “[Brooks] was out on bail. And he was a rough cookie. Looks like they caught him in another act. The good news is he hated Trump, based on early reporting. He should never have been out.”

Additionally, critics of the existing cash bail system, such as the controversial Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, have called for a reevaluation of the procedure.
In an interview with Tucker Carlson on Fox News Channel on Tuesday night, Tulsi Gabbard, a former presidential candidate and former congresswoman from Hawaii, said: “Unless leaders of this country do something to fix the broken system, I am deeply concerned that we will see the horrors like this weekend in Wisconsin continue to play out.
There doesn’t seem to be an actual plan. It sounds all warm and fuzzy. Wait until someone comes to threaten their families.”

She denounced the “irresponsible and dangerous leadership” in the country.
Brooks was out on bail after his arrest on November 2nd. HE was in Milwaukee hunting down the mother of one of his children at a hotel, then followed her to a gas station before running over her after she refused to get in his car.
Brooks was arrested and charged with five counts, one being bail jumping, and for failing to meet the terms of his many other sets of bail/probation requirements.
On November 11, however, he paid a $1,000 cash bond to free himself.
By the 19th of November, he was back on the streets, and by the 21st, he was back behind the wheel of his Ford again.
Following the slaughter on Sunday night, the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office issued a statement acknowledging that the bond amount had been set at an “inappropriately low level”.
According to the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office, Brooks has been officially charged with five counts of first-degree intentional murder. Brooks is being held without bond.
However, at his court appearance on Tuesday, prosecutors revealed that a sixth victim, Jackson Sparks, a child, had died as well.
Because of the death of the little kid, prosecutors said they will explore charging him with a sixth homicide.
A court heard on Tuesday that Brooks had a history of violent convictions, a 22-year criminal history, charges against him filed in three states, and had served a significant amount of time in a Georgia detention center.
In the wake of his repeated failure to appear in court, a $5 million cash bail was proposed for Brooks, who was found to be insolvent by the court.
Judge Kevin Costello granted the district attorney’s request for the $5million bond, stating that the exceptionally high sum was needed owing to Brooks’ “extraordinary” history of breaching the law and disobeying court orders, as well as the gravity of the alleged offenses.
Costello said, “I have not seen anything like this in my very long career.”
