Wisconsin Judge Denies New Arrest Warrant For Kyle Rittenhouse

A Wisconsin judge will not issue a new arrest warrant or change the bail for the Kenosha shooting suspect Kyle Rittenhouse after prosecutors stated that he broke his $2 million bond by moving.

Kenosha County Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger also asked the judge to increase Rittenhouse’s bail by $200,000 but his attorneys countered that Rittenhouse is in hiding due to threats.

During the hearing, the judge said that people who are out on bail will often fail to update their addresses, are not arrested and Rittenhouse’s attorney will turn over the current address but sealed from the public.

The judge also refused to give Binger the address because he does not want anymore violence in Kenosha and Binger was offended.

“I hope you’re not suggesting sharing this with out would lead to further violence. We are not the public. We are the prosecuting agency. I have never heard of a situation where the information has been withheld from my office,” Binder’s response to not receiving the address.

One of Rittenhouse’s attorneys wrote in the filing, ““It is of concern to the defense that any information regarding Kyle’s location being publicly available would result in immediate harm to the Rittenhouse family.”

District Attorney Binger tried to make accusations on Rittenhouse of his night at the bar, what shirt he was wearing and alleged that he was flashing “white supremacist symbols”

Law and Crime reported, “Rittenhouse ‘is thumbing his nose’ at his own bond requirements to keep the court updated about said address pursuant to Wisconsin law, Binger unsuccessfully argued. Binger also accused Rittenhouse of going out and drinking, wearing inappropriate slogans on t-shirts, and flashing white supremacist symbols while out on bond.”

One user on Twitter shared the image the district attorney made the accusations on Rittenhouse.
