Biden Compares Trump/Hawley/Cruz To Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels
Joe Biden was asked if whether Senator Ted Cruz or Sen. Josh Hawley resign and Biden thinks they should be ‘just flat beaten the next time they run’
Biden claimed they’re all part of a ‘big lie’ and attempted to quote Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels.
The quote from Goebbels is, ““If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
Biden said he was reminded by a friend of his about this quote and brought up an incident where people were killed but the numbers printed in the story were wrong.
Biden continued saying, “There are decent people out there who actually believe these lies.”
