Dr. Ronny Jackson Calls On Biden To Take Cognitive Test To Know ‘Someone Else Isn’t Pulling The Strings’
Following Biden’s first foreign trip as president, Dr. Ronny Jackson stated he wants President Joe Biden to complete a cognitive test to evaluate his mental ability.
During a Hannity interview on Thursday night, Jackson stated, “We can’t sit on this any longer.”
Jackson, a freshman Texas Republican congressman, cited instances on the campaign trail when Biden, at 78, made “embarrassing” gaffes and shown “mental decline and forgetfulness.”
“He’s not physically or cognitively fit to be our president right now,” Jackson said.

Biden is “not inspiring confidence,” he continued. “It’s sending the wrong message to our adversaries.”
“We need to know that we can trust our president, and that he is in charge of what’s going on and that someone else isn’t pulling the strings behind the scenes,” Jackson said.
Jackson also received backing from his colleagues in Congress, who signed a letter to the Biden administration seeking a cognitive evaluation.
In a letter to Biden, a group of 14 lawmakers wrote, “We write to you today to express concern with your current cognitive state.”
The legislators added in the letter, “Unfortunately, your mental decline and forgetfulness have become more apparent over the past 18 months,”
Former President Donald Trump, according to the group, completed the Montreal Cognitive Assessment and passed it with a score of 30 out of 30 for the cognitive component.
“We encourage you to follow the example set by President Trump by undergoing a cognitive test as soon as possible and immediately making the results available for the American people,” the group said.
Given the precedent set and President Biden’s CLEAR mental struggles, I believe it’s past time he take a cognitive test.

The Republicans also cited Biden’s prior agreement to undergo such a test while on the campaign road in their letter.
According to an Associated Press article, “at first, you ‘grew testy’ and questioned ‘why the hell would I take a test?’ Later, you relented and said you were “very willing to let the American public judge my physical, mental, and mental fitness, as well as to make a judgment about who I am.”
Biden will undergo a “checkup,” according to White House spokesman Andrew Bates, although it is unclear if this would involve a test of his cognitive skills.
“The President is planning to have a checkup later this year, and the results will be released to the public,” Bates said last month.
Reps. Bob Gibbs, Jeff Duncan, Andy Harris, Brian Babin, Jody Hice, Claudia Tenney, Greg Steube, Tom Tiffany, Kat Cammack, Jerry Carl, Pat Fallon, Diana Harshbarger, and Beth Van Duyne are among the Republican legislators who signed the letter.
