The Committee on House Administration’s Oversight Subcommittee has disclosed that Liz Cheney’s primary witness in the J6 investigation, Cassidy Hutchinson, provided false testimony. This was revealed after a handwriting expert, hired by the Committee, examined a note central to Hutchinson’s testimonies, determining it was not penned by her.
Despite her claims, the analysis confirmed that Hutchinson did not author the note. The findings suggest that Liz Cheney was involved in persuading Hutchinson to commit perjury.

Chairman @RepLoudermilk released NEW handwriting analysis showing Cassidy Hutchinson lied in transcribed interviews & public testimony in front of the J6 Select Committee with Liz Cheney’s help.
Hutchinson stated under oath that she wrote the note during a meeting with Mark Meadows for Trump on January 6, 2021.

Absolutely stunning lie facilitated by Cheney--who either knew it was untrue or didn't properly vet this--that Cassidy Hutchinson wrote this note on Jan 6.
It was written by WH lawyer Eric Herschmann. pic.twitter.com/y4uiveO6Uj
However, Eric Herschmann, a White House attorney, immediately disputed Hutchinson’s account, though his challenge was not disclosed due to the actions of Liz Cheney. Now, the handwriting evidence confirms Hutchinson’s dishonesty.

“Hutchinson testified, under oath, that she wrote this note while Mark Meadows dictated to her ‘illegally’ and Eric Herschmann, one of the President’s attorneys, dictated ‘without proper authority’ and Hutchinson wrote both,” the Oversight Committee stated.

Herschmann has consistently disputed Hutchinson’s testimony. “Herschmann refuted Hutchinson’s testimony and has maintained for years that HE was the one that wrote the note,” said the Committee. “The J6 Select Committee never contacted him to confirm the authorship of this note.”

The sample of Hutchinson’s handwriting appears similar to that of a middle school student:

Recently, Committee Chairman Barry Loudermilk acquired Cassidy Hutchinson’s Signal messages, which showed her direct communication with J6 Vice Chair Liz Cheney in 2022.
Notably, Cheney was in contact with Hutchinson without her attorney’s awareness, an act recognized as unethical.
“In the months prior to Hutchinson’s explosive private and public testimony, Cheney communicated with Hutchinson, both directly and through an intermediary—Alyssa Farah Griffin—while Hutchinson was represented by her attorney, Stefan Passantino. The Select Committee conducted six transcribed interviews of Hutchinson in total. Passantino represented Hutchinson for the first three interviews,” the Oversight Committee noted.
