Megyn Kelly Rips Biden, Dems For Pushing ‘Unity’ After Demonizing Trump Supporters For Years

Journalist Megyn Kelly blasted Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and members of the Democratic party for pushing for “unity” following last week’s polls and for urging supporters of President Donald Trump to accept the result of the election which was called by the media.

“Written like a man who’s been in his basement for a year,” Kelly said, retweeting a post by the former vice president calling for “A nation united. A nation strengthened. A nation healed.”

She went on to hit Biden’s message — and his supporters, reminding them of how Trump and his supporters had to endure the “vitriol and hate” in the past four years of his presidency.

“Half of the country has been demonized as awful for four years just for supporting their president who was falsely accused of Russian collaboration, wrongly impeached & attacked relentlessly by the [left] & a dishonest media. And now it’s ‘let’s heal!’ ‘Unity!’ Good luck,” Kelly tweeted in response to a certain Austan Goolsbee, who is a University of Chicago economist.

Kelly, who started as a critic of President Trump, went on to respond to detractors who flock her account following her comments against Biden.

“Ian, you’re out of touch if you think 70m Americans who have been unfairly demonized as the worst of humanity for 4yrs are now going to hug those who’ve viciously attacked them (& are now making lists of their names),” Kelly responded to a critic telling her to “lead by example” and “do better.”

“I’m talking reality, which is my job, not pie-in-the-sky stuff,” she added.

Kelly also took a swipe at CNN host, Chris Cuomo, who retweeted a video of an actor making fun of Kelly and other supporters of President Trump.

“Omg@ChrisCuomo! I totally thought this was you doing more terrible acting like when you had COVID (while your brother was killing off 6K seniors) & after exposing half ur neighborhood while not wearing your mask, did your fake emergence from the basement! But this guy is better,” the former Fox News anchor added.

“This is perfect. In an attempt to support my claim that Biden’s pronouncement of ‘unity’ & ‘healing’ was not realistic, that we are too divided, this actor (shock: he hates Republicans) decides to mock the reasons Rs aren’t feeling so chummy. Thanks for making my point!” Kelly added.

Kelly went on with her Twitter storm posting:
– Leftists/media re GOP: “racists! Xenophobes! Uncaring bigots!”
– Biden wins. “Unity!”
– Trump supporters: “Eh, not feeling it.”
– Leftists/media: “please be more responsible in your language.”

Biden’s call for unity ‘disingenuous’
Speaking to Newsmax TV, Megyn Kelly reiterated that Biden’s call for unity is “disingenuous,” and is “completely detached from reality.”

“Biden tweeted out late Saturday night, ‘a nation unified, a nation strengthened, a nation healed’ — OK, so, no it isn’t! It’s not even close,” Kelly told “Greg Kelly Reports.”

“That was written by a man in his basement for the past year. Because the nation’s extremely divided right now, extremely divided. And you need to look no further than Joe Biden’s own party,” she added.

Kelly also tagged Biden’s messaging as “hypocritical” — saying he alienated supporters of the incumbent President while claiming to be a “unifier.”

“Biden’s been saying this all along: He’s the unifier, he’s the one that’s going to bring us together. It sounds delightful. It sounds great, and I want that. I want world peace and I want all the puppies and kittens to be adopted,” Kelly started.

“But, let’s get real. It’s not connected to the reality on the ground in this country right now. And the only reason you’re hearing Biden and all these Democrats calling for it is because they won. It’s only the person that wins that says, ‘let’s have unity,” she added.

Kelly called out Biden and the Democrats for the irony they’ve shown over the past four years under a Trump presidency.

“What has he been doing for the past four years? They have been calling all of the Trump supporters — not just Trump, that would be bad enough — all his supporters racists, bigots, xenophobes, misogynists, sexists, transphobes,” she further said.

Kelly, who is also a lawyer, then responded to calls from self-proclaimed Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to put supporters of President Trump on an “accountability list.”

AOC earlier floated the idea of making an “enemies list” for backers of the incumbent Republican President.

“Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future? I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future,” the New York progressive firebrand said.

Responding to AOC, Kelly said: “The people who voted for Trump now need to be on the accountability list? And what are they going to do? They’re going to try to stop you from getting a job. They’re going to try to blackball you.”
