NY Attorney General Reveals Bombshell That Cuomo Groped Multiple Women, Retaliated Against Employee

New York Attorney General Letitia James accused Democrat Governor Andrew Cuomo of sexually harassing several women and retaliating against a former employee, alleging that Cuomo broke the law. She dropped a bombshell PDF report on her findings Tuesday.

Cuomo was once considered the “backup plan” for Joe Biden in case something went awry during his presidential installation.

“Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women and in doing so violated federal and state law,” James revealed in a news conference on Tuesday, adding that Cuomo fostered a “hostile” and “unsafe” work environment. The governor engaged in “unwanted groping, kissing, and hugging,” as well as making inappropriate remarks, she said.

James’ investigation began in March after multiple women publicly accused the governor of sexual misconduct. The report includes 179 witness interviews and a review of thousands of documents.

According to the report, Cuomo, a Democrat, harassed his own staff, members of the public, and even a state trooper. The attorney general’s report highlights the governor’s precipitous fall from grace after being well praised by the national media for his handling of the COVID-19 outbreak, which included honors and a book contract.

A number of New York Democrat politicians urged the governor to resign after women began bringing allegations against him. Cuomo has refuted the charges and has stated that he will not resign. Even President Joe Biden said the governor should resign if James’ probe confirms the claims against him.

According to James’ assessment, the governor denied the most serious claims and made broad assertions or lacked recollection of specific specifics when questioned.

“I never harassed anyone, I never assaulted anyone, I never abused anyone,” Cuomo said in March. “I’m not going to resign.”

Cuomo once said that he “never, ever meant to offend anyone or hurt anyone or cause anyone pain” and feels “terrible that these people felt uncomfortable, felt hurt, felt pain from the interactions, and I’m embarrassed by it, and I feel bad from it.”

“This is a sad day for New York because independent investigators have concluded that Governor Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women and, in doing so, broke the law,” James, also a leftist, said in a statement. “I am grateful to all the women who came forward to tell their stories in painstaking detail, enabling investigators to get to the truth. No man—no matter how powerful—can be allowed to harass women or violate our human rights laws, period.”
