Schools are warning parents that Fortnite is making kids “aggressive and violent.”

The season 7 update for Fortnite is set to be released on Thursday, December 6 and primary schools in Gloucestershire, England are extremely concerned.

Widden Primary School deputy head, Debbie Innes, is leading the crusade against the game.

Younger children find it difficult to distinguish between the game and real life. They are exposed to the aggression and violence. We have had a number children for whom their behaviour has deteriorated as a result of what seems to be playing Fortnite.

Hannah Beale, a teacher at Foxmoor Primary, Stroud, said children are being bullied about the costumes, also known as “skins,” they have purchased for their characters.

Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite, says Fortnite currently has 200 million players.
