During a church service at West Freeway Church of Christ in White Settlement, Texas, an unidentified shooter used a shotgun to shoot two church members dead.
Within 6 seconds of the start of the shooting, an armed church security member, Jack Wilson, shot the suspect in the head.
White Settlement, Texas has a population of 17,000 people.
Safety experts agree that Wilson’s quick response and heroism limited the number of potential injuries and deaths that could have occurred without armed civilian intervention.
