Twitter’s Official Account Gets REKT In Replies After Hypocritical Tweet: “We Strongly Condemn Internet Shutdowns – They Are Hugely Harmful, Violate Basic Human Rights And The Principles Of The #OpenInternet”

Just days after the far-left communists at Twitter banned President Trump for life from using the platform, the official Twitter Public Policy account tweeted out its disapproval with the government of Uganda, which is apparently censoring social media accounts ahead of its upcoming election on Thursday.

Twitter Public Policy tweeted, “Ahead of the Ugandan election, we’re hearing reports that Internet service providers are being ordered to block social media and messaging apps. We strongly condemn internet shutdowns – they are hugely harmful, violate basic human rights and the principles of the #OpenInternet.”

The account followed up with another tweet, “Access to information and freedom of expression, including the public conversation on Twitter, is never more important than during democratic processes, particularly elections. #UgandaDecides2021 #KeepItOn”

Thousands of Twitter users pointed out the disgusting hypocrisy that Twitter is attempting to voice its defense of “access to information and freedom of expression” just days after they permanently banned the Leader of the Free World, President Trump.

“So free speech is fine in Uganda but not the US?? Wtf world are we living in,” tweeted @cooper_friedman.

Another Twitter user, @CowmanSense, tweeted out a popular meme from “The Office,” reading, “Well, well, well, how the turntables…”

“The lack of self awareness here is mind boggling,” tweeted @Capn_Iowa.

Blatant far-left hypocrisy like this is why we are running a petition to officially repeal the Section 230 protections that Twitter and the other communist Big Tech companies have.
