WATCH: Democrats Change Tune On Violent Protests As It Started To Affect Biden’s Polling (VIDEO)

Joe Biden has labeled the protests across America as ‘needless violence’ and CNN dropped the word ‘violent’ from a headline while anchors described the protests as such.

Biden stated, “What I saw in that video makes me sick. Once again, a Black man, Jacob Blake, has been shot by the police in broad daylight with the whole world watching. You know, I spoke to Jacob’s mom and dad, sister, and other members of the family just a little bit earlier. And I told them justice must and will be done. You know, our hearts are with his family, especially his children. It’s horrible what they saw. Watching their father get shot? Like Gianna Floyd. They’re asking, ‘Why? Why, Daddy?’.”

Biden continued, “Put yourself in the shoes of every Black father and Black mother in this country and ask, is this what we want America to be? Is this the country we should be? You know, as I said, after George Floyd’s murder, protesting brutality is a right and absolutely necessary. But burning down communities is not protest. It’s needless violence, violence that endangers lives. Violence that guts businesses and shutters businesses that serve the community. That’s wrong.”

CNN anchor Don Lemon stated that the ongoing protests are not helping Biden’s polling numbers.

Lemon stated, “I do think that, this, what you said was happening in Kenosha is a Rorschach test for the entire country. And I think this is a blind spot for Democrats. I think Democrats are ignoring this problem or hoping that it will go away. And it’s not going to go away. And so unless someone comes up with a solution over the next 73 days or 70 so how many days? 68 days. So it’s not going to-. The problem is not going to be fixed by then. But what they can do and I think maybe Joe Biden may be afraid to do it. I’m not sure. Maybe he won’t. Maybe he is. He’s got to address it. He’s got to come out and talk about it. He’s got to do a speech like Barack Obama did about race.”

Lemon continued, “He’s got to come out and tell people that he is going to deal with the issue of police reform in this country and that what’s happening now is happening under Donald Trump’s watch-. On Donald Trump’s watch. And [if] he is the president, Kamala Harris is the vice president, then they will take care of this problem. But guess what? The rioting has to stop. Chris, as you know and I know, it’s showing up in the polling. It’s showing up in focus groups. It is the only thing right now that is sticking. And the Democrats tonight stuck with that. Right? And they also stuck with the theme that you said, the coronavirus. You got coronavirus and you have Kenosha.”

CNN also described the riots as ‘fiery but peaceful’ as a building burned behind the reporter.

The reporter said, “Christine and Laura, what you’re seeing behind me is one of multiple locations that have been burning in Kenosha, Wisconsin, over the course of the night. A second night since Jacob Blake was seen shot in the back seven times by a police officer.”

Biden later continued, “In the midst of this pain, the wisest words that I’ve heard spoken so far have come from Julia Jackson, Jacob’s mother. She looked at the damage done in her community and she said this, quote, “This doesn’t reflect my son or my family.” So let’s unite. And heal, do justice. End the violence.”
