WATCH: Joe Biden Responds To Pelosi’s Warning Not To Debate Trump (VIDEO)

Joe Biden stated in response to Pelosi, “No. I’m gonna-. As long as the Commission [on Presidential Debates] continues down the straight and narrow as they have. I’m going to debate him. Now I know for certain that they’re going to be. I’m going to try. I’m going to be a fact-checker on the floor while I’m debating him, in fact. But look. But one thing has gone on so far is the vast majority, with notable exceptions of the news media, have been fact-checking the things they’ve been saying during the [RNC].”

Biden continued, “And it’s just one lie after another. Lying, lying, lying, lying, one after another. And but the debates are going to take place. I’ve been recommended to me by a number of very competent people know their way around, including leading Republicans, that I shouldn’t debate Trump unless there’s a fact-checker on the ground. I mean in there in the debate saying that’s true. That’s not true. But look, I think everybody knows this man is as a somewhat pathological tendency not to tell the truth.”

Fox News also reported on Biden being advised to skip the debates and The New York Times also published that they are ‘pointless’.

The reporter said and quoted, “The Biden campaign tells us the former V.P. is in for the debates with this. ‘Joe Biden said in June that he looks forward to debating Donald Trump on the dates and in the locations chosen by the Presidential Commission on Debates. We are still waiting for Donald Trump to agree to as much.’

The reporter continued, “We asked the Trump campaign about that. They say the president has agreed to that much and more with this statement. ‘President Trump is looking forward to debating Joe Biden, who is the only one who is being publicly advised to skip debates. In fact, we’ve asked for a greater number of debates and an earlier calendar. Voters in 16 states will already be casting their early votes before the first debate takes place on September 29 as the schedule stands now.’

Fox also reported, “Joe Biden does have more recent debating practice this cycle since he participated in all 11 primary debates. But this six hours of unscripted time on stage represents a major departure for him since he has been averaging just one short scripted event per week during COVID-19 lockdowns. Both Biden and Trump have fielded questions this cycle about their cognitive abilities. And since Biden has a lead right now, some liberals wonder what good a debate could do for Biden.”
