WATCH: Maryland Biden Supporter Allegedly Shoots At Trump Supporter’s Truck (VIDEO)

A Maryland Trump supporter claims that he was shot by an unexpectedly armed Biden supporter as he drove by the Biden supporter’s house.

The Trump supporter Neal Houk recalled, “He reached down, he had a shotgun right there. Hold it up and pointed it right at-. And we were in disbelief and next thing we heard was a shotgun blast.

A neighbor nearby corroborated the shooting, “We didn’t see it. We heard it and it was indistinguishable that it was a shotgun.

Neal Houk shared, “We see what’s going on in the country. And I really didn’t expect it right here at home.”

Houk also said, “He reached for the ground. He had a shotgun right there, pointed it right at us till we were looking down the barrel.”

Houk’s son who was with him, Bradly Lang said, “He ran towards us, aiming it. And when we got between 100-200 feet down the road, he began to fire. We were scared. Although we were happy that he missed and the truck was missed and we were all right.”

The suspect, Douglas Kuhn, was arrested on charges of 1st-degree and 2nd-degree assault. Kuhn faces up to 100 years in prison if convicted.

Police found the 12-gauge shotgun shell and brought 50-year-old Douglas Kuhn into custody.

Neal Houk said, “We were just, you know, we were rattled. I’m shaking just talking about it.”

A neighbor said, “People are taking to politics a little too serious.”

Houk never met Douglas Kuhn but a neighbor said the suspected shooter has had a couple of his signs stole but does not justify his response.

The neighbor continued, “For someone to take it that far, you’ve got to be filled with a lot of rage to go out to put your sign up and carry a 12 gauge with you. Hopefully this division in the country to get better because it’s not good.”

One of the Trump supporters joked that Kuhns missed the shot because he was a Democrat.

He told Houk, “I really thought it might’ve been a firecracker. Might have been something that-.”

Houk cut him off, “He aimed the shotgun right at me and my son in this truck.”

The Trump supporter asked, “Well, then how did he miss?”

Houk answered, “Because he’s a Democrat.”

Houk also shared, “And did never think, especially in Kingsville, that anybody would be violent about this situation. You know, we got to all play nice here. It is America.”

Houk’s son said, “He obviously has his political beliefs as he showed with his signs. We had we were expressing those same rights and he attacked us for that.”

District Court Judge Philip Tirabassi ordered Kuhn to stay detained at home following the incident.

Judge Philip Tirabassi said about the incident, “How did it get to the point where he pulls out a shotgun? What has the world come to? This is beyond belief. Free speech. Why resort to weaponry? This could have been horrible.”
