WATCH: Republican Activist Scott Presler Talks About His Successful Trash Cleanup In Baltimore

Republican activist Scott Presler organized a trash cleanup in Baltimore.

Presler’s decision came after President Trump publicly criticized Rep. Elijah Cummings.  Cummings is a Democratic Congressman who represents the city of Baltimore.

On July 27, President Trump tweeted that Cummings’ district is “rat and rodent infested.”

Presler was inspired by President Trump’s tweet to organize a cleanup of the city.  Presler tweeted out that he would be coming to Baltimore to clean up trash.

Presler’s tweet went viral and hundreds of people showed up to the event.

Many Baltimore residents were very happy to see their streets cleaned up.

Scott Presler is well-known on Twitter by the name “#ThePersistence.”  Presler tweeted that he is currently organizing a second Baltimore cleanup. Presler also claims to be organizing several other trash cleanups in major cities like Los Angeles, CA, Newark, NJ, and in Norfolk, VA.

As a Republican activist, Presler is holding training sessions in several different states to train other Republican activists on how to register Republican voters.
