Ice Cube ‘Can’t Wait’ For President Trump To Be Arrested

The term ‘Trump Derangement
Syndrome,” or TDS for short, needs no explanation to most people who follow
politics.

TDS seems to have the strongest effect on self-righteous liberals in the mainstream media and the entertainment industry.

Trump: Coronavirus Cure Cannot “Be Worse Than The Problem Itself”

A case in point, as Fox News notes, is Ice Cube, a well-known gangster rapper and actor.  In 2018, Ice Cube released a song about Trump entitled “Arrest the President.”

Recently, he doubled down on the sentiment during a radio interview on New York’s 105.1 FM’s “The Breakfast Club.”

Ice Cube said that he has his heart set on seeing President Trump led away from the White House in handcuffs by some unsympathetic law enforcement officers.

The host, who styles himself as ‘Charlamagne Tha God,’ agreed that the prospect of President Trump being arrested is a pleasant idea to think about.

“Well, when he gets out that White House, he definitely gonna be in handcuffs,” said Charlamagne.

Ice Cube’s
premise, as was illustrated in the 2018 rap song, is the time-worn and debunked
conspiracy theory that President Trump is
a kind of Manchurian Candidate under the control of Russia’s Vladimir Putin.

A promo video posted on Twitter by Ice Cube for “Arrest the President” includes a series of scenes about President Trump and the Russian conspiracy theory.  The video shows scenes from a Trump MAGA rally as well as images of Trump and Vladimir Putin greeting one another with friendly expressions on their faces.

The video also contains images of illegal aliens being rounded up on the southern border as well as footage from the violent white nationalist demonstration that took place in Charlottesville, Virginia in August 2017.

Some of the lyrics of the
song include, “Arrest the president, you got the evidence, that n**ga is
Russian intelligence.”

It is important to note that the Russian-collusion conspiracy theory was debunked in 2019 by the Mueller Report.  Special prosecutor Robert Mueller wrote in his report that he found zero evidence of any collusion between the 2016 Trump presidential campaign and the Russian government.

The
report found that while the Russians did interfere with the 2016 election, the
purpose was not so much to support one candidate or the other, but rather to
sow chaos and conflict in the United States.

Indeed, if any presidential candidate has some things to explain about Russian support, it’s Bernie Sanders.  The Washington Post reported that Sanders was informed by American intelligence that the Russians are supporting his 2020 campaign for the presidency.

So far, however, Ice Cube has no announced plans for a follow-up rap tune about arresting the fiery “Democratic socialist” from Vermont.
