‘It’s Abuse Toward Children’: Megyn Kelly Blasts Critical Race Theory In Schools

Former Fox News host Megyn Kelly slammed Critical Race Theory being taught to children in schools across the country saying the practice is an “abuse toward children.”

Kelly was speaking to renowned historian Victor Davis Hanson in her podcast about various issues in the military — and they touched on the topic of preaching Critical Race Theory in the US military.

“They have really lost support of the very people in America that were the backbone of their military, and the backbone of the military support for the military. And I’m really afraid of it, because I talk with people, and they said, ‘You know what? If the Left wants to cut the military budget — and they do — maybe they’ll cut Critical Race Theory training, ha ha.’ I said,” Hanson began.

“Well, they won’t. But maybe that’s what they need. That’s what people are saying. And I think we’re going to have families that served for three generations and four that are not going to volunteer to join the military. And I’m worried about it,” the historian added.

In response, Kelly ripped the current push of liberals to teach Critical Race Theory among school children.

‘Indoctrination’ of Critical Race Theory

“It was bad enough when they were indoctrinating college students, right?” Kelly replied. “College students tend to be more left-leaning, and they’re experimenting with ideas, and I think one’s rationality sets in; they tend to make up their own minds, one way or the other. They don’t all keep that indoctrination forever. At least, it used to be thus.”

“But now, we’re seeing in today’s day and age is, they’re infecting — and forget corporate America, that’s already spread in sports and so on, but they’re infecting kids,” the talk show host and political commentator added.

“Young children they’re indoctrinating with these divisive messages. Our military — I mean, those things are going to have — it’s abuse toward children. And it’s endangering the men and women in the military and our country as a result.”

Kelly then segued the talk to the brotherhood in the military that sees no race, or skin color.

Next up on the show is Marcus Luttrell; I’m interviewing him next. And he’s the guy — he’s a Navy Seal and he wrote ‘Lone Survivor’ and they made a movie about him starring Mark Wahlberg. And it’s all about this horrific experience he had in Afghanistan with his comrades who were all killed; he was the lone survivor,” she said in her introduction.

“I went back and watched the movie recently to prepare for the interview — there’s no black; there’s no brown; there’s no white; there’s none of that. It’s a brotherhood. Those Seals, they don’t see skin color; they see a brotherhood. They would die for each and every one of the guys who they fight with. They would die for this country every day of the week. Marcus would die for Texas every day of the week. And they do. They do,” Kelly went on.

The former Fox News host then blasted a recent recent remark made by Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Mark Milley when he defended texts of Critical Race Theory being read in the US military.

Milley defends Critical Race Theory in military

Milley recently told a to Republican questioning about Critical Race Theory at a House Armed Services Committee hearing last week of the importance of being “well-read” and his personal desire to understand “white rage” as he defended Critical Race Theory in an impassioned speech.

“I want to understand white rage, and I’m white,” Milley said. “What is it that caused thousands of people to assault this building and try to overturn the Constitution of the United States of America? What caused that?” Milley continued, referencing the January 6 Capitol Hill chaos.

“I’ve read Mao Zedong. I’ve read Karl Marx. I’ve read Lenin,” he added. “That doesn’t make me a communist. So what is wrong with understanding, having some situational understanding about the country for which we are here to defend?”

To this, Kelly responded in her podcast calling for Milley’s resignation for his “irresponsible” peech.

“For Milley to go in there and try to make the military or their relationship about their melanin is so undermining of what they stand for and the overall messaging and mission; I feel like he should be fired. It’s so irresponsible,” the host said.

Meanwhile, earlier, former President Donald Trump also slammed Milley and called for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to step down for defending the study of critical race theory in the military.

“Gen. Mark Milley’s greatest fear is upsetting the woke mob,” Trump said in a statement.

“Gen. Milley ought to resign, and be replaced with someone who is actually willing to defend our Military from the Leftist Radicals who hate our Country and our Flag,” the former Republican president added.
